Marazion 10K Road Race 2025 Announced: What to Expect This Year

The Marazion 10K will return on Sunday, 28 September 2025, giving runners the chance to take on one of Cornwall’s most scenic and challenging road races. Starting below Trevenna Square in the heart of town, the 10K is part of the Cornish Grand Prix Road Running Series and is always a sell-out event.

The Course

    • Distance: 10 km (6.2 miles)

    • Elevation: approx. 131m total climb

    • Route: winds through Cornish lanes and coastal stretches with sweeping views of Mount’s Bay and St Michael’s Mount.

The course’s mix of rolling countryside and sea views makes it a favourite in the Cornish running calendar, and the dramatic finish line with the island behind you is one of the most memorable in the county.

A Race With History

The Marazion 10K has been running for many years and has built a strong reputation among local clubs and visiting runners alike:

In 2023, more than 400 runners completed the course despite stormy weather, with strong support from locals lining the route.

In 2022, the race saw one of its fastest winning times, with many runners achieving personal bests despite the challenging profile.

How to Enter

Registration for the 2025 race is now open. Places are limited and expected to sell out quickly, so early booking is strongly recommended.
